ABOUT US

Carlos Garcia and Robert Salinas have a combined 40 plus years of expertise in the technical, mechanical, and microscopy industries, which inculdes over 15 years experience with Omniprobe® products.

Nanoprobe Technical Services

The purpose of Nanoprobe Technical Services is to provide support services for Omniprobe® nanomanipulators in the field that are not performing to a customer’s satisfaction. With our advanced skills and understanding of the nanomanipulators we can bring your system back to its original operating specifications. Our 15 years of experience with Omniprobe® in manufacturing, service and training makes us the top notch and best qualified service engineering teams for Omniprobe® products.

 

Omniprobe® has provided opportunities for us to develop exceptional customer service skills and gain a high degree of professional experience. Recently, Oxford Instruments closed the Dallas Omniprobe® facility and chose to relocate the manufacturing and business operations of Omniprobe® to a factory in the UK. The absence of a US based Omniprobe® group  creates a void for local service. Nanoprobe Technical Services fills that void by providing services to existing customers of Omniprobe® products in the United States and neighboring countries.

Carlos Garcia

 

My experience includes over twenty years of solid technical experience, including ten years with Texas Instruments and eleven years with Omniprobe®.


When I began my employment with Omniprobe®, I first developed tactical skills by working alongside the mechanical, electrical, and software engineers who designed the products.  As Omniprobe® increased its business, my knowledge strengthened through my experiences in assembly, certification, installation and operations, both in the factory and training globally with all Omniprobe® products. Lastly, as the manufacturing manager for Omniprobe®, I provided top quality and on time delivery across the entire Omniprobe® product line.

Robert Salinas

I have over 15 years in Field Service with Therma-Wave, FEI Co and Omniprobe®.


I worked 5 years in direct manufacturing with Varian and Associates and Therma-Wave.

I started with Omniprobe
® in 2010. I started in manufacturing, building and certifying the Omniprobes®. This gave me the opportunity to learn and understand the operations and functionality. When I started in Field Service, I traveled globally and in the USA. I completed Installs, PM’s, escalations, and customer training, utilizing software and operations. I trained other FSE’s from Oxford Instruments to complete Installs and advanced troubleshooting.
